What do I need to put a car in my name?
To transfer a car into your name, you'll need a properly released title or a notarized Release of Interest/Affidavit of Loss, along with a bill of sale and the appropriate fees. Additional documentation may be necessary. For specific fee information or if you're transferring from another state, please contact our office for assistance.What are your hours?
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Please note that we are closed on most major holidays.Can someone pick up my tabs for me?
Yes, someone can pick up your tabs on your behalf. The person must either share your last name or address as shown on their government-issued ID, or present a signed permission note from you. This note should include the vehicle identification number and specify who is authorized to renew on your behalf.How many days do I have to put a new vehicle in my name?
You have 15 calendar days from the purchase date to transfer the title without incurring penalties. Starting on the 16th day, a $50 fee applies. After that, the penalty increases by $2 daily, up to a maximum of $125.Can I receive a vehicle as a gift?

All vessel registrations, including boats, expire annually on June 30th. This expiration date also applies to snowmobiles.
